WomensRadio Privacy Statement, Legal Policy and Terms and Conditions
WomensRadio Privacy Statement
By visiting WomensRadio.com, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Statement.
We know that you are concerned with how your information is used and shared. Unfortunately, the legal wording for most Web sites is hardly crafted with the reader in mind. In fact, most folks do not read it anyway (or, simply refuse to do so). With that in mind, we have written a statement that describes our privacy policy for easy comprehension and to help you move on to more important activities.
What information does WomensRadio.com gather?
In a nutshell: Any information that will help us improve your experience at WomensRadio.com.
The second most relevant question, and for some the most important is, “What do we do with all this information?”
The answer: We try to make sense of it. But, here is the kicker…we will NOT sell, trade or give your personal information away directly to anyone under any circumstances without your permission…Period. (The caveat: if you decide to transact business with any of our affiliates, you are giving your information freely to these parties. Of course, we are duty bound to give information to any law enforcement group that requests it.)
How do we work with your information?
We are like a vacuum when it comes to data. We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then, oops, you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests and support calls, tweaking our services to make them better, and communicating with you.
There are few Websites that do not serve up the cookies! (Programmers often call them “code droppings.”) WomensRadio uses cookies, although sparingly, in comparison to others. It is a method. It provides that personal touch so lacking in today’s digital dungeon.
You can still turn your cookies off or obliterate them, using your browser or with a number of software programs designed to take them off your computer. Whenever you do that, it takes more time and work on your part and makes your experience visiting WomensRadio.com, a bit more bland.
Being able to email you in response to your requests or questions is a vital part of our communication efforts. We do send out confirmations and notices to subscribers who have opted to receive “stuff” from us. We often scrub our lists to make sure that you do not receive the same “stuff” more than once.
Here is a good thing: You can always opt-out to take a breather from getting our “stuff.”
There are some things that are out of our control when it comes to your information. We work closely with affiliated businesses, third party individuals and companies. That is, we operate stores, provide services, provide content, or sell product lines jointly with these businesses. You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions, and information is shared related to those transactions with that third party. It is your choice to transact business with these affiliated businesses.
From time to time, we contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. These activities include fulfilling orders, sending mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but they agree in writing NOT to use it for any other purposes.
Occasionally, we send offers to selected groups of WomensRadio.com customers on behalf of other businesses. Understand that we do not give that business your name and email address. If you do not want to receive such offers, you can tell us so, and you will always have the option to opt-out of those communications.
The Team at WomensRadio.com is always looking to develop new business services. Also we may choose to sell all or a portion of our services. As such, the list of customers and their listed information would generally is be one of the transferred business assets but this information always remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Statements. (Also, all customers can tell the new owners differently if they like.) Should WomensRadio.com or any parts of its assets be acquired, however unlikely, customer information will likely, be one of the transferred assets.
It is not advisable to do anything illegal while associated with WomensRadio.com. If authorities want your information because they suspect that your activities may be fraudulent or illegal, we may be required to release account and other personal information. This includes our exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.
How Safe Is Your Information?
All affiliates and third party businesses are required in writing to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. These agreements and the technology make your transactions with us more secure.
It is your responsibility to protect against unauthorized access to your ID/password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
What Choices Do You Have?
You can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of new WomensRadio.com features.
If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please unsubscribe from any mailing list that is provided on WomensRadio.com. (The Policy Statement still governs your use of WomensRadio.com, and it is your responsibility to review them for changes regardless of whether or not you’ve chosen to receive notifications about the Policy Statement.)
With regard to children, WomenRadio.com does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use WomensRadio.com only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
If you choose to visit WomensRadio.com, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of Nevada. If you have any concern about privacy at WomensRadio.com, please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it.
