Arianna Dagnino is a writer, literary translator and academic researcher. Her cultural and professional experience crosses many borders and five continents. After completing a PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of South Australia, she moved to Canada and currently teaches Italian Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Arianna has published books – both in Italian and English – of fiction and creative nonfiction, as well as on the impact of digital technologies and global mobility. Arianna joins Speak Up! to talk more about her novel, The Afrikaner, and the film script based on this book.
