Most authors have dreamed of being published. Rochelle Weinstein dreamed about being in the CIA or an ESPN analyst.

Always a journal writer, my words were best kept in private (with the exception of my brother who often peeked at my spiral notebooks). With a degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, I headed to Los Angeles’ LA WEEKLY where I oversaw the music and film advertising and promotions. Returning to Miami, I worked for the acclaimed BEBER SILVERSTEIN & PARTNERS and soon spent ten years at THE BOX MUSIC NETWORK as director of advertising, marketing, and promotions for every record label in the country.
Today I would call myself a full-time wife, mother, author, speaker, and blogger. WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND (CreateSpace/KDP, 2012), my debut novel, is for any woman who has loved and lost and wondered what could have been. It is a favorite on the book club circuit. My second novel, THE MOURNING AFTER (CreateSpace/KDP), will release in June 2013. The story captures the essence of a family in crisis and the unwavering power of the human spirit.
