UniteWomen.org is a national women’s rights organization founded to educate the population on issues affecting women’s lives. Karen Teegarden (right) is the President/CEO, and Renee David (lower left) is the Executive Vice President of Programs for UniteWomen.org. Karen founded UniteWomen.org in response to all of the anti-women legislation and rhetoric occurring across the United States, and Renee has been with the organization since it was founded, creating innovative programs that UniteWomen.org conducts and forming relationships with other organizations and coalitions to bring a collective voice and action to various issues. Karen and Renee join Speak Up! to talk about how UniteWomen.org is involved with the upcoming Suffrage Centennial Celebration, which will talk place March 1st through 3rd, 2013 in Washington, D.C.
