Edwina Griffin, former elite athlete who had 2 major physical breakdowns and suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome, became a fitness expert and won the prestigious Australian Health and Fitness Industry Awards, and, The 2010 NSW Exercise Professional of the Year.
She shares with us how her challenging health issues affected her life and why the holistic approach to balance mind and body is not just about recovery through physical exercise. With more than 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry, Griffin is a writer for many magazines, fitness expert for “Women’s Health Bump” magazine and was recently featured in the book “Switched on health and well-being professionals”.
Edwina Griffin is also the radio host of her own London-based “Health and Happiness Show” and has been the guest on many others. Through these radio shows, her seminars and other programs, she helps people achieve their life goals and maintain high performance in life.
Griffin is also a worldwide renowned speaker. From Sydney to London, Bali to the USA, she has coached thousands of clients, and is a health mentor and council board member of Fitness Australia, as well as a business mentor for the Australian Business Women’s Network Mentornet Program.
Currently the managing director of Real Body Management, she has also developed the original concept of FitWomen and was the vitality/performance expert at the Women of Global Change Summit 2012. She also spoke at the Australia Fitness Convention, Fitness NSW and leads seminars and workshops.
