CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL FORUM: Inspiring Greater Love in Our Marriages & Our Parenting!

Today, another one of those “People of Distinction Forums” with Al Cole that you’ve been requesting…and that you’ve come to love. And this one is the top of the line, people – nothing more successful in the book world, nor more nourishing for the soul…than Chicken Soup for the Soul!

Today, on the Al Cole stage, five ladies who represent the best of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book line, starting with the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief – Amy Newmark!

Amy is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University and in 2008 stepped in as Publisher of Chicken Soup for the Soul!

Along with Amy, there are at least four more reasons for Chicken Soup’s phenominal success – and they are (in alphabetical order) Barbara LoMonaco, D’ette Corona, LeAnn Thieman and Susan Heim. Barbara LoMonaco is a senior editor of Chicken Soup for the Soul and has been with the company since 1998.


D’ette Corona is the Assistant Publisher of Chicken Soup for the Soul and has been with the publishing house in various positions for ten years. LeAnn Thieman is a long-time Chicken Soup for the Soul co-author and has numerous Chicken Soup titles to her credit. Susan Heim is a long-time Chicken Soup for the Soul editor and is the co-author of many Chicken Soup books as well.

The Chicken Soup for the Soul series has sold more than 112 million copies, holds a place in The Guinness Book of World Records for having the most books on the New York Times bestseller list at one time, and has been named by USA Today as one of the five most memorable and impacting books of the last quarter century!

Al Cole, “Mr. Romance,” has lived some life, and has paid some dues.
