Another “Updates on Women in Political Office” by Lulu Flores, President of The National Women’s Political Caucus

[HTML1]  “Updates for Women in Political Office” is making its mark, people! It’s causing a stir in women across the country…and is getting women inspired about their involvement in the political process too!

Lulu Flores, President of The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) is not only an authority on the national political scene, she’s a compassionate and committed women willing to fight for issues of equality for all women. To add to this, Lulu Flores is an outstanding, practicing attorney, a partner at HendlerLaw in Austin, Texas…and the 2010 National Latina Lawyer of the Year by the Hispanic National Bar Association!

The NWPC was founded in 1971 by Bella Abzug, Gloria Steinem, Shirley Chisholm, Betty Friedan and Myrlie Evers.

The NWPC will present the Women of Courage Awards to honor women from diverse backgrounds who have demonstrated courage by taking a stand to further civil rights and equality, and who exemplify women’s leadership. These awards will be presented at the Diversity Reception to be held at the NWPC 2011 Convention on Friday July 27, 2011.

Al Cole, “Mr. Romance,” has lived some life, and has paid some dues. Al has been told over and over again by his fans, fans who affectionately call themselves “Al Cole-holics”, that his reflections, as well as his romantic words, could fill a book.
