“The Heart and Soul of Sex”

[HTML1] What’s normal?  According to Dr. Gina Ogden, Norm is a guy who lives in Brooklyn.  Dr. Ogden got into the field of sexuality because as she was doing “Family Therapy” many issues were sexually related and at that time there was no information.  The index of books had no listing under “sex” and few do today, though more information is flowing.  Art Noble and Dr. Ogden discuss openly the full range of sexuality: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual as Dr Ogden talks about the ISIS wheel.

Gina Ogden has a distinguished career as a sex therapist, family therapist, researcher, teacher, and author.  As a Sexologist, she has listened to thousands of women, men, and couples express stories that range from misinformation and abuse to ecstatic oneness, transcendence, and sacred marriage.  She has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show.  She has written seven books on women’s sexual health, pleasure, and the meanings of sexual relationship. Her most recent books are The Return of Desire (2008), Women Who Love Sex (2007), and The Heart and Soul of Sex (2006).

She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she is researching her next book The Best Is Yet To Come: Women Talk about Love, Sex, and Growing Older.  And you thought this was just for kids!  Ha!  She is also collaborating on two more books: one on sexual archetypes, based on her workshops and another on sex therapy and couple therapy.

Al Cole, “Mr. Romance,” has lived some life, and has paid some dues.
