[HTML1] Capturing the moment, seizing the time. That’s crucial when news and events happen suddenly, creating opportunities for your organization to reach its audience, both online and through national broadcast radio. But, alas, our standard feature show deadlines just aren’t quick enough!
Enter . . .
“You’re listening to Life Love & Health: Special Edition Newsmakers . . .” Within 48 hours, you’ll have our Newsmakers show, 11 minutes of breaking news, starring your spokespeople, telling your stories, your way. Perfect for website posting, too, and the perfect motivation for emailing subscribers, members, donors and advocates to tune in and learn more. Then, that Podcast will be broadcast nationally and archived for search, driving further traffic to your website for fulfillment. We’ll post the program on our site as well.
We offer a free verbatim transcript and show script for posting on your site, because keywords drive search results. This is also a huge plus for bloggers, for those who share and archive copy, for visual learners, and for the hearing impaired. ALL benefit from a transcript. (A little secret: a transcript is really just a Q&A article waiting to happen…)
You probably know the feeling of “getting in late” on a radio program and missing the basics of what and whom you’re hearing. Drives you crazy, doesn’t it? Well, we solved THAT problem! We’ll happily mention your URL twice; first while re-introducing you and your organization in the middle of the program, and again at the end, to capture the people in their cars who tune in after the opening.
Listen to this segment and follow the three links at the bottom of the page for examples of solid and well-researched interviews, Springmann’s sparkling style, and high-quality audio with excellent production values, all in a news-talk format that’s appealing to listeners. After all, that’s how most Americans get their news.
In this segment of Life Love & Health: Special Edition Newsmakers, Executive Producer Christopher Springmann considers so-called quality of life crimes. If you live in any American urban area plagued by seemingly homeless individuals who are behaving a bit out of the ordinary, you may get a sense of what that “crime” might be. A San Francisco supervisor put it this way, “Welcome to the world’s largest open air mental institution.” Well, that’s a rather harsh indictment of the day-to-day reality many of us endure. And our guest shares those concerns. He is Jim Pavle, Executive Director of the Treatment Advocacy Center in Washington, DC and coauthor of a startling report entitled “More Mentally Ill Persons are in Jails and Prisons than Hospitals.”
