Batman’s original “Catwoman”, Julie Newmar, Appears on Cole & Noble

[HTML1] Julie Newmar is the legendary actress who introduced us all to “Catwoman” on the worldwide show Batman!

Julie Newmar is an extraordinary woman. Her sense of humor and physicality made her this show’s most popular villain! Some actors are identified with a particular role because they’ve played it for years. But, believe it or not, it took Julie Newmar only a handful of appearances in the original Batmanseries to be forever known as The Catwoman. She has owned the role!

Julie is also known for her appearances on Wide, Wide World of Sportswhere she made three amazing parachute jumps! She was killed off in Columbo but slayed audiences as Lola in Damn Yankees. She was given a chapter in the book Mothers of Invention for having created “Nudemar,” a new design in pantyhose, appearing in People Magazine; and was hand picked by Jim Aubrey, President of CBS, for the lead in My Living Doll as Rhoda the robot, still a cult sitcom favorite.

Few of us realize how great a prodigy Julie Newmar really was. She graduated from high school at the tender age of 15! On her UCLA entrance exam, she scored a 99…almost as perfect as her physique!!

Julie has also penned an outstanding new book—The Conscious Catwoman Explains Life on Earth. Julie’s book is filled with observations, quotations, and sublime sensations to help you in your relations, and in your elations too…and even in your daily ministrations! Her fascinating new book will be available in early 2011.
