Myrna Clayton is the Founder of SHOWAbility, an organization with a mission to create self-confident agents of change among the disabled and the under-served to dismantle unintended barriers. The vision behind SHOWAbility began when Myrna heard a 10 year-old boy with an amazing singing voice, who also had cerebral palsy. A few years later, Myrna began looking for this boy, hoping he was using his immense talent. Sadly, no one from her vast list of performer friends knew any person with a disability that sang. From here, Myrna started SHOWAbility, and she joins Speak Up! to share how SHOWAbility gives people with disabilities a way to showcase their talents.
