Jane Blalock played in the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour from 1969 – 1985 and remains one of its top, winning players in history with 27 titles. A record-holder across all professional men and women’s golf tours, Blalock played 299 consecutive tournaments without missing a cut. Following her retirement from professional golf, Blalock founded JBC Golf, a Boston-based golf management company. For over 30 years, Blalock and her team at JBC have spearheaded and implemented the KPMG Women’s PGA Golf Clinic series, a nationwide program designed to encourage executive women to learn golf and consequently, enjoy the same access to business conversations and deals as their male counterparts. Since its inception, the KPMG Women’s PGA Clinics, led by PGA and LPGA Certified Coaches, have welcomed over 45,000 women to full day golf clinics held in a dozen different markets annually. Blalock joins Speak Up! to share her experiences playing golf and how setting up a game creates opportunities and builds relationships.
