Eileen Lenson (1)

Eileen tells us we are hardwired for predictability. With the COVID-19 environment, we feel we are out of control and have no predictability for the future, near or far. She talks about the effect on her own family and people to whom she provides life-coaching skills.  She provides a how-to on talking with children at their age-appropriate level about COVID-19 and some things we can expect of our children during this period.  She explains the importance of being a role-model for your children and provide children with the opportunity to talk about their concerns.

She gives us advice on how to control your own world and friends and family around you. She helps us to ensure how to retain hope and positivity.  People are creating innovative ways on being close to each other. She feels we may reevaluate our values and priorities and how we set our goals. Rather than an over-focus on material things, our focus may be more on relationships. She provides an analogy talking about vampire bat reciprosity.  Purchase her book, Overcoming Adversity, on Amazon.
