Laurie Cummins and her daughter, Alexandra Groezinger, join Susan Michel and Carol Ann Fernandez to share their story. Laurie and her husband started their business, Groezinger Provisions, Inc. in 1982. As a woman in business, especially in the male-dominated food industry, Laurie has faced and overcome challenges to achieve the success that her business has today. Her daughter, Alexandra, joined her in the business in 2014. Since then, the duo has continued to achieve new heights, and their all-natural Alexian Pates and Specialty Meats are distributed in high-end stores around the globe! In this episode, we learn more about what it takes to be a woman in business, what it’s like to work in a family-owned business, why the food industry can be a great place to be, and advice on how to succeed in a family business or any business at all!
