The Importance of Dialogue with Teens with Lauren Galley

Lauren Galley Podcast post

At the age of 15, Lauren Galley became the founder and CEO of Girls Above Society, a nonprofit designed to give girls confidence and cybersmarts in our media-driven society. Today, the 24-year-old award-winning teen mentor, Amazon Best Selling Author, TEDx Speaker, and Girl Power Expert is dedicated to empowering young girls to be confident and cybersmart as they face the tough pressures of living in today’s world. Lauren has learned a lot along the way, including that it’s easier to get teenage girls to open up about what is going on in their lives by being a role model and a friend who cares, rather than in an authoritarian way. Tune in as Lauren talks about the importance of dialogue and her “Girls Talk” platform.
