Today on Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #340 we present an hour of visionary acoustic improv music recorded at Singing Brook Studio by the Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, native flute, ukulele and acoustic guitar, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and native drums. We begin with the lovely and contemplative “I Sing, I Dance In The Glory” which features a lush vocal from Mariam and a lovely series of piano figures from Bob. “31 Years For WiseWays Herbals” celebrates Mariam’s herbal company, reflecting on the celebration at Singing Bridge Performing Arts Lodge, and “Water From The Sky” is a beautiful, mystical raga in praise of the rain. “Feeling Grateful” is a gentle ballad of praise driven by Mariam’s pretty, relaxed ukulele figures. We devote the last section of today’s show to interpretations of Mariam’s songs from her CDs, with fine renditions of “I Was Wondering” from the “Smooth Sailin’ Love Songs” CD, “Sail To The Realms” from the “Gaea Star Crystal” CD, “Crystal Ice Queen” from the “Gaea Star Goddesses” CD, and “Gather Together”, also from the “Gaea Star Crystal” CD.
Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro can be heard on Dreamvisions 7 Radio Network.
