In this installment of S.O.U.L. On Air, Evan and Kip are all about sharing the importance of sharing. And sharing not just in the sense of sharing something with another – which of course is incredibly valuable – but also the sharing taking place in nature and the universe itself, where without sharing, literally nothing would be. Think about it. What would we happen if the tree did not share its fruit or the sun its light? We would be starving and cold; actually not here at all. Right? This is what Evan and Kip are wanting to share about sharing, in this episode devoted entirely to sharing.
To help further tell and emphasize the point of this universal need to share Evan and Kip shared their airtime with S.O.U.L. team members Raleigh Latham and Annie Prybelski. Who share their thoughts on what sharing means to them and why they are sharing their lives, hearts, and minds with S.O.U.L.
“Nothing is yours. It is to use. It is to share. If you will not share it, you cannot use it.” ~ Ursula K. Le Guin
“If it’s one thing I am reminded by friends who have kids, it’s that sharing is caring; and its beautiful to see this lesson taught to our youth. After all we wouldn’t even be in this world. Think about it, Mom and Dad had to share a special moment just for us to be here. What’s the good in having something if we can’t share it? It may sound counter intuitive in a culture of scarcity, but I am here to tell you, the more we give, the more we receive.” ~ From S.O.U.L.’s “Invitation to Action” short film
