Both Deborah Beauvais and Janine Sullivan have journeyed through caregiving, Deborah with her 94 yr. old Mother-in-Law recently placed in a nursing home and Janine with her Mom who transitioned to the other side in 2010

Come join us as we answer questions of each other with the intent to help others as they travel this emotional, challenging path.

A sample of questions:

• What do you do or could you do to recharge energy levels while caring for a loved one?

• What could be done to improve over all care for the elderly?

• How do we honor and respect a lifetime of stories, possessions, etc as their bodies and estate transition from what was to something different.

• The fact is the many agencies that can suddenly be involved in elder care are not streamline. Each agency has an agenda specific to their goals.

• The caretaker can often be overwhelmed, as they become the person to streamline agencies.  What can be done change this? What can be done to stay strong and focus, healthy and calm while dealing with, insurance, banks, attorney, nurses, doctors.

Janine Ouellette Sullivan is a freelance writer and poet.  When Janine is not writing she is a resource agent a position, which involves advocacy and assisting people, achieve goals. She uses her talent connecting people to lift dreams and desires to a successful outcome. Drawing on 30 years of experience in social service Janine has gathered tools and resources developing a unique approach to connect individuals and communities.

One of the highlights of her career was producing a life enhancing lecture series for women. Educated in the field of child psychology, Janine has nurtured the ability to see under the veil into the heart of a person making her current work as a caregiver very rewarding.  She believes we all can lift up our portion of the world one person at a time through one action at a time. Facebook  “ Janine’s Peace Haven”.
