Give it a Go, Eat A Rainbow with Kathryn Kemp Guylay

Dr. Meaghan is excited to welcome Kathryn Kemp Guylay, CNC, MBA, to the show today to talk about her new book Give it a Go, Eat A Rainbow. This book follows the magical travels of Blake as he is exposed to all the colors of the rainbow in his food choices and how they positively affect his journey.

Kathryn is the founder and executive director of the non-profit organization Nurture that focuses on low-income populations and the nutritionally related diseases that we see in certain populations. She has found by working closely with these wonderful families, that nutrition needs to be fun and straightforward. That is how this book has come to be. With her son, Alexander Guylay, contributing the augmented reality illustrations for the book. This book is excellent for parents, teachers, and children.

  1. Great podcast, making it fun for children to eat the right foods. Lentils are great, especially in soup in Winter. Kids eating raw onion, unbelievable.
