Just what is El Nino? What are its impacts on the Southwest and what are some “events” that might be of interest to all of us? As far as El Niños go, the one we’re experiencing now is a doozy. In fact, it’s probably the strongest that’s ever been measured. In the simplest terms, that means one thing: Get ready for another year of wild weather. As a Jersey girl, I have always wondered about El Nino and am very eager to learn more. Hope you will join me to listen and learn more from two pretty impressive, knowledgeable guests from my alma mater. This show made possible due to the generous support of The University of Arizona, Institute of the Environment.
