Matt McKinney grew up on ranches in the Rocky Mountains. Attending California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo he studied Animal Science, earning an MBA in Agricultural Business. After college he worked on two of the largest seed stock ranches in California. Joining Bently Ranch in 2001, he was able to concentrate on commercial cattle production. Leading the ranch and farm into a more holistic model, Matt and his team are learning techniques required for direct meat sales and grain growing. Matt joins Food Facts to talk more about the importance of sustainable and grass-fed beef.

David Barrett, CTO and CFO of Women’s Online Media and Education Network (W.O.M.E.N.), including WomensCalendar, WomensRadio and AudioAcrobat – responsible for subscriber accounts and support; in-house database maintenance, and administration.
Mr. Barrett earned his MBA at the American Graduate School of International Management, in Phoenix Arizona in 1976. He served as one of the youngest Vice Presidents of Underwood, Neuhaus and Company, a Texas-based investment company before starting his own company which specialized in online information services targeted to corporations. Subsequently, David started and successfully managed several businesses using computer technologies involved with databases and publishing content. He currently developed the database back-end and positioned the WomensCalendar as the largest listing of events for non-profit women’s organizations on the Web.
He is also Managing Partner and co-owner of W.O.M.E.N., a company which markets media services to over 1,000 women’s organizations. One of these services is AudioAcrobat which is fast becoming the top service for creating and broadcasting audio content.
Mr. Barrett is also listed in the Nationwide Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Business.
