Flax Is A Mighty Fine Food!

Linda Pizzey and husband Glenn worked together to form their first flaxseed business, Pizzey’s Milling, sold it in 2007, and re-entered the market in 2013, working with Grain Millers to launch their new SafeFlax, a clean, safe, allergen free and stable source of ALA Omega 3 and Fiber.  Pizzey’s not only process flaxseed, they grow it on their farm in Manitoba, which is by far the best way to ensure it is allergen free!  Linda joins Food Facts to discuss the benefits of flaxseed.

David Barrett, CTO and CFO of Women’s Online Media and Education Network (W.O.M.E.N.), including WomensCalendar, WomensRadio and AudioAcrobat – responsible for subscriber accounts and support; in-house database maintenance, and administration.

Mr. Barrett earned his MBA at the American Graduate School of International Management, in Phoenix Arizona in 1976. Mr. Barrett is also listed in the Nationwide Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Business.
