Jont will be familiar to fans of the movie “Wedding Crashers” which features his song “Sweetheart” over the closing credits. His deeply poetic music has also graced “Grey’s Anatomy”. Joining Mariam Massaro, Tom Fair, Amanda Pollock and Bob Sherwood to present several of his songs a day after completing a 10-day meditation retreat, Jont astounds with his mastery of simple words and his achingly human poetry. Jont’s “Taking My Time”, “Here To Stay”, “Teardrops and Pennies” and “Love Gave Me A Sign” are spun into a narrative of his discovery of a daughter he never knew he had and his relocation to Halifax, Nova Scotia to be with her.
Jont also joins the Gaea Star Band for a beautiful, mystical take of Mariam’s “Rialea”, aa harmony-drenched, percussion-driven “Pele” and much more.”
