It started as a nagging dissatisfaction with her job when inspiration and luck conspired to send Patty packing. She quit work, sold all her possessions and with the grace of a sister working for a major airline, decided to use her free family flyer option to explore the world.
A self-professed beginner, Patty feels there’s room to make mistakes. “I could stay home and wait for retirement or I could travel the world, what sounds more exciting?” Listen to find out how it started and her plans for the future.
On her blog, Travel with Murphy, she chronicles her adventures and inspires others to follow their dreams of international travel.
Thanks Elaine! I don’t sound as silly as I thought! LOL
I am enjoying Spain, it’s such a beautiful country and I am loving the afternoon siesta!
Be Well!
Love this! How inspiring! I’m currently reading a book called “One American Woman Fifty Italian Men” by Lynne Ashdown, http://lynneashdown.com/, and it too is inspiring me to travel AND take up cycling! I’ve always wanted to go to Europe and I love Patty’s go and get it attitude! Bravo!
