Abandoned and abused, Wendy R. Gladney’s attitude is living proof of success. A philanthropist, actress and local talk show host, author of 2 books, columnist for the Los Angeles Sentinel and Black Business News, Wendy received the nationally recognized Curvations tribute presented by Queen Latifah in 2007. She is extremely active in her community giving back with her non-profit foundation Forgiving for Living, Inc.
From “victim” to “victorious”, Wendy shares with us how with her strong attitude and belief that we must do whatever life brings to us, that she was able to live a fulfilled life without hatred and with happiness and joy, even though she was abandoned by her mother and sexually-abused by her father. She is a speaker and wrote 2 books: “How to Forgive to Live” and “The Preacher’s Daughter: A Memory.” Wendy can be heard as a guest speaker on KJLH 102.3 FM’s Front Page with Dominique DiPrima.
