Alejandra Garza shares how Valoramas.com brings the United States Latino community together to enjoy shopping discounts as well as social benefits. Valoramas serves the Hispanic culture community by aggregating over 3000 retailers in an online shopping mall with products that are family friendly.
With the revenue produced from its multiple streams including membership, retail commissions, advertising and more, Valoramas takes a portion to re-invest into the Latino community. This year, in 2012, they awarded $150,000 to multiple community organizations in Chicago and Houston.
The collective buying power of the Latino community is growing and forecast to become $1.4 trillion by 2013-2014. As the online shopping community grows, so will the re-investment into the Hispanic community.
