Nathalie Gensac, a 2008 Ernst & Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year nominee, shares her path to establishing YouthInteractive.us, a free after-school, international program designed to connect youth at risk, share and preserve cultures, teach entrepreneurship, technology and art in order to create world change through the educational support of the next generation. This program evolved from Nathalie’s work through her Media4Good.org organization where the work of women of the world who are changing their communities are recorded via video and shared.
Listen to hear about how women in Jamaica and India are lifting their communities from violence and poverty through empowering their women and their youth. This incredible work is now accessible to students in the United States who can attend, free of charge, Youth Interactive while learning about entrepreneurship, technology and art. A store front selling products designed and produced by the students will ultimately support the program.
