Fearless Women Moving into the World…

Mary Ann Halpin, decided that being an actress, singer, dancer was very hard work. It was while she was having her “head shots” taken that she remembered her early love of photography.

Beginning by offering to take her friends “head shots” for the cost of processing and printing, Mary Ann soon found herself photographing celebrities. As an acclaimed photographer she wondered what she could do to change the focus on body image that so many women faced. Thinking that she might do a gallery show, she opened her schedule to photograph the many aspects that women might love about their bodies.

It was a pregnant women that shifted the project to what would become Mary Ann’s first book, Pregnant Goddesshood: A Celebration of Life.

We do not live in fearlessness. We live through the fear that shows up and it changes our world. Her latest book, Fearless Women, Visions of a New World showcases some women who have done just that.

You will love and be inspired by Mary Ann’s infectious words and laughter.

I always tell budding photographers and authors, “Be careful what you name your projects as that will be your lessons and they will come fast and furious.”
