Peter Hartman of the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Central Coast California shares the multitude of resources available to new business and entrepreneurs to support success. This MIT Enterprise Forum is part of a much larger network of international forums established through MIT to help emerging technology and markets. The mission is to promote entrepreneurship by educating while providing networking opportunities, mentors and inspiration.
Nine events are held each year that include presentation by successful entrepreneurs and business owners and Round Table discussions that cover a wide array of subjects and industries. The Board of Directors is comprised of an impressive group of executives and business owners with in-depth experience valuable to entrepreneurs and who are also available to provide networking and mentoring opportunities. The Forum itself provides the function of connecting people and services throughout the central coast of California.
The events are recorded to later be broadcast through the local cable TV channel. MIT itself is in process of creating their own common platform for sharing events for MIT Enterprise Forums around the world. A link to this platform will be available by late Fall.
