Gina Cioffi – Restoring Tuscan Villas at Monteverdi

Gina Cioffi Gina Cioffi is the COO of  The Villas at Monteverdi in Castiglioncello del Trinoro, a 900-year-old village and UNESCO protected site. While she grew up in the U.S., Gina now spends most of her time in Tuscany guiding the restoration and transformation of seven 11th century villas into luxury rentals. Gina speaks about her expat lifestyle and the relaxed rhythms of working in Italy; bringing her father’s vision to life and restoring the ancient stone buildings as private luxury retreats with all of the modern amenities.

The project started as a family retreat after her father fell in love with the site and initiated the only privately sponsored archaeological dig in Tuscany. Gina looks forward to guiding the restoration and then spending part of each year back in the U.S. practicing law.
