[HTML1]Sue Wilson is a former Emmy winning radio and TV journalist who blew the whistle on poor broadcasting policy with her documentary film, Broadcast Blues. She recently founded the new grassroots organization, the Media Action Center, to hold both broadcasters and the FCC accountable to the public interest in broadcasting. The Media Action Center has monitored Conservative Talk Radio stations in Milwaukee during the Scott Walker recall and found them giving about some $75,000 a day in free airtime to Walker and the GOP and virtually none to the Democrats. That violates FCC rules, so Sue has made a formal complaint to the FCC, which should impact every radio talk program in the nation, from Rush Limbaugh to Glenn Beck, in the 2012 general election. Sue joins Speak Up! to discuss how the FCC is reacting to her complaint and how people can support the efforts of the Media Action Center.
