[HTML1]Dr. Terry Neese is the Founder and CEO of the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW), an organization that helps women, including women in Afghanistan and Rwanda, expand their businesses and learn the importance of getting involved in public policy. Terry joins Speak Up! to talk about IEEW’s Business Boot Camp and Mentoring Week portions of its PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® program, which consists of dynamic, high-level business training, combined with leadership skills. As part of this training, half of the 60 students involved are selected to travel to the United States in July for higher-level business and leadership training. They each have a one-week-long mentorship with an American female business owner in a matching industry, and later, the students also take part in an International Women’s Economic Summit.
