Jesse DuBois, the June Y Gen Entrepreneur, is founder and Chief Eclectic Officer for Farmscape, a Los Angeles-based company that helps tend small-scale farms in the city. Although raised by scientists in Tucson, Ariz., Jesse expected his career would be in art or comedy until he fell in love with urban agriculture. He moved to Los Angeles to become a screenwriter, but instead got caught up in reshaping the food system.
Jesse joins Keeping Up with Gen Y to talk about how Gen Y can strike that balance between structure and creativity when building disruptive businesses. He also discusses how having to make a living doesn’t mean young entrepreneurs can’t make a positive and long-lasting impact on our world.
Farmscaping is the dynamic wave of the future!
