Bart Jan Skorupa A brush with blindness led Bartlomiej Jan Skorupa to his life’s work. Leaving a lucrative consulting job to do research on a remote coast near Madagascar, he developed optical ulcers. The journey through storms to surgery in a remote hospital inspired him to help match local leaders in the developing world with sustainable programs with volunteers and fundraisers elsewhere. 100% of the funds raised go to the campaigns which include: providing clean water, healthcare or education. Bart is now the co-founder and executive director of Groundwork Opportunities.org

More about Bart:

He holds a BA in Finance from the University of Illinois and has 7 years working experience in management and IT consulting in the US and Europe. Bartlomiej also has 5 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector in the USA, Europe, Africa, and Asia, from front line jobs to systematic development work.
