Is Tanning Dangerous?

[HTML1]

Tanning is a major national pastime which was more in vogue several years ago when the darker your skin was, the more “sexy” or “handsome” you were. Nowadays, we know much more about the problems that sun exposure can bring. In this interview important information about our attitudes towards tanning, measures that are essential to preventing skin damage from the sun, and the dangers of tanning is presented. A good website for more information is: www.listentoyourskin.org.

After this interview Dr. Gracer reviews the causes and treatments for basal cell carcinoma, the most common skin cancer and, thankfully, the easiest to treat if it is caught early.  He describes the early signs of skin damage and what to look for.
