Jarrod Schwartz, the founding Executive Director for Just Communities Central Coast, a nonprofit social justice organization, joins us to discuss this year’s Partnership for Excellence conference in Santa Barbara. Hosted annually by the Santa Barbara Foundation, this year’s conference moves from bringing only nonprofits and foundations together to bringing together nonprofits, for-profit business, education, faith-based organizations and government to look at how to create a greater, sustainable collective impact for social good. Jeff Edmondson of the Strive Network is a keynote speaker at the conference discussing how various sectors of the community can work together to create sustainable change.
In addition to being the founding Executive Director for Just Communities Central Coast, Jarrod is an independent consultant and educator with more than 20 years experience working with schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, government and communities.
