Azim Khamisa – From Murder to Forgiveness

[HTML1] Azim KhamisaOne night in 1995, 20 year old Tariq Khamisa, was delivering a pizza in San Diego. He died at the hands of a 14 year old under orders from a gang leader. The initial shock of Tariq’s death led his father, Azim Khamisa, to an epiphany. He realized there were two victims that night – his son and his murderer, who will be in prison until he’s 46 years old. Azim speaks about his journey to forgiveness and his work in schools and international organizations where he is bringing new tools to both young and old in desperate need of forgiveness, peace and hope.
