Menopause 1: Symptoms and Their Management

[HTML1] In this show Dr. Gracer and his interesting and well-known interviewee, Dr. Laura Berman, review the main symptoms of menopause and suggest management strategies. You will learn, for example, about how to manage symptoms, including depression and vaginal dryness. More about Dr. Berman
Laura Berman, LCSW, PhD, is a world-renowned sex and relationship expert who is considered a thought leader and innovator in her field. She has been a sex educator, researcher and therapist for more than 20 years. Currently, Dr. Berman is an assistant clinical professor of OBGYN and Psychiatry at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. After obtaining a Master’s Degree in clinical social work and a Doctorate in health education, specializing in human sexuality, from New York University, she went on to complete a training fellowship in Sexual Therapy with the Department of Psychiatry, New York University Medical Center.

Her television shows, In The Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman and The Dr. Laura Berman Show, are featured on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. She is also the Host of The Dr. Laura Berman Show on Oprah Radio on XM 111 and Sirius 204 at 5 PM EST. She is a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Dr. Oz Show.

Dr. Berman is also a New York Times best-selling author of many books on sexual health and pleasure and a weekly columnist for the Chicago Sun Times. She has appeared on Fox News and CNN, and in The New York Times, USA Today, and major women’s magazines.
