In this interview she shares her journey to creating Adventures by the Book, where she offers readers intimate travel opportunities to walk with authors in the areas of the world that inspired their writing.

A secreted travel brochure spawned dreams of worldwide adventures in young Susan’s heart. After becoming an empty-nester, she went to college to get the business degree she’d always craved. She worked as an author event coordinator at Warwicks Bookstore in La Jolla, before taking the plunge into entrepreneurship.
