[HTML1]More about Lori Randall
Lori Randall is a digital native with considerable experience in design from practical interior design, to web page design and for the past several years, social media design. She specializes in creating social media campaigns that weave together communication threads – website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube – into a strong, multi-colored campaign that captures the essence of a client’s brand.
After deep experience in marketing and design that included creating traffic-stopping window treatments in the retail sector, and running a commercially successful boutique, Lori studied Speech Communication at the University of Georgia and graduated magna cum laude in 2008, a time when the social media world was bursting with opportunity. A natural flair for design combined with a passion for authentic communication resulted in the combustible success story that is Social Media Design.
Twelve months after launching Social Media Design, Lori was a keynote speaker at Blogworld NYC May 2011, and is a regular contributor to Social Media Examiner, Enterprise Efficiency, and Smart Brief. A semi-Finalist in the Social Media Success Summit when only 10 people out of nearly 3,000 tested high enough on the final exam to place, confirms her abilities in design and social media communications.
Lori regularly contributes as a guest lecturer at The University of Georgia in for both Public Relations and Master of Internet Technology areas of study, as well as at Lanier Technical College. She holds professional associations with the PRSA – Public Relations Society of America and IABC – International Association of Business Communicators and is in high demand for keynote speaking engagements.
More about Kate Douglas
Some people just seem to know they’re meant to write, but it can still take awhile to figure out exactly what their career will entail. Kate Douglas started out writing radio copy for a country western radio station in 1972, wrote and illustrated an educational cartoon strip for the American Mosquito Control Association for a number of years, was a newspaper reporter for a small town weekly where she covered everything from high school sports to drug busts, and then, in the mid-1980s, decided to write her first romance.
Many submissions and rejections followed.
In 1998, she published with a small ebook publisher before anyone knew what an ebook was, but it wasn’t until 2005, a full twenty years after finishing that first romance, that she signed with a New York publisher.
In January 2006, Kensington Publishing launched their Aphrodisia imprint of erotic romance with Kate’s Wolf Tales, a sexy paranormal series about a lost race of shapeshifters. Kate has continued on as the imprint’s lead author, with her twenty-first and final title in the series due to release June 28. She has also completed CrystalFire, the final book in a four book series of paranormal romances, which are part of Kensington’s Zebra imprint. The first novella in her new Aphrodisia series, Dream Catchers, is scheduled for a December release.
Kate and her husband of almost forty years have two adult children and five grandchildren, with number six on the way. They live in the beautiful mountains of Lake County, California, north of the Napa Valley wine country.
