Literary agent Janet Kobobel Grant founded the Books & Such Literary Agency in 1996 and represents several best-selling authors and winners of the Gold Medallion, Christy Award, and RITA. Previously she was a book editor for more than 12 years, an imprint editor at Zondervan, managing book editor at Focus on the Family, collaborator on 17 books, and writer of two books. As a result, Janet knows the publishing world from the perspective of a writer, an editor, and an agent.

Robin Jones Gunn is the much loved author of 75 books with worldwide sales topping 4 million copies sold. She is best known for her Christy Miller series for teens that continues to gather a new audience every year. Other bestsellers are the Sisterchicks® novels for women and her destination novels that include Under a Maui Moon and Canary Island Song.
Growing up in southern California, Robin never considered becoming a writer. After college she married a youth pastor and it was the teens at church who challenged her to first start writing stories for them. Taking their request to heart she set her alarm for 3am, three days a week in order to write while the house was quiet. After two years and ten rejections her first Christy Miller novel, Summer Promise, was accepted for publication in 1988. Robin hasn’t stopped writing since.
Currently Robin and her husband live in Hawai’i where Ross is a counselor and Robin continues to write to the sound of tropical birds chattering in the palm trees outside her window. Their son and daughter are grown and married and come visit with their families every chance they get.
Robin’s awards include: three Christy awards for excellence in fiction, a Gold Medallion finalist, Mt. Hermon Pacesetter and the Mt. Hermon Writer of the Year award. She travels extensively and is a frequent key-note speaker at various local and international events. She serves on the Board of Directors for Media Associates International, a non-profit organization that provides training for writers and publishers in difficult places around the world.
