[HTML1]Renee Wilson is an actress, singer, songwriter and filmmaker. A native of New Orleans, Wilson spent the past five years documenting her family’s experiences with Hurricane Katrina in her first film as a director entitled Crepe Covered Sidewalks. Wilson recently won the Best New Filmmaker Award at the Peachtree Village International Film Festival in Atlanta, and she joins Speak Up! to talk about Crepe Covered Sidewalks which will be screening at the San Francisco International Women’s Film Festival on April 7th at 7pm PST. The SF International Women’s Film Festival will be held April 6th through 10th, 2011 at the Roxie Theater, San Francisco, CA.
