Beth Kallman Werner has spent the last two decades in brand marketing, multi-media advertising and business development across various industries.
After designing global marketing campaigns for companies such as DuPont, Dow Corning, Swagelok and Parker Hannifin, Beth came to the book publishing marketplace as Director of Sales & Marketing for Kirkus Media. Working with countless indie Authors and advertising clients such as Random House, Scholastic, Penguin, Chronicle and many others, Beth developed a unique insider’s perspective of book marketing.
As Founder and President of Author Connections, LLC, Beth is an Author advocate – encouraging, training and empowering Authors to use targeted marketing strategies for effective, integrated book promotion.
More about Susan Magnuson Walsh
Susan Walsh enjoys her work as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and as a clinical instructor of graduate nursing studies at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Combining her expertise in infant, child and adolescent health care with her passion for serving vulnerable populations, along with her husband Brian, she has been leading medical mission teams to Haiti since February 2005.
With the help and dedication of many volunteers, the non-profit organization Little by Little, which is supported by many across the country, was founded by Susan to faithfully partner with those in need of improved health and well being, specifically in Haiti.
She is also the author of the true story, Walking In Broken Shoes: A Nurse’s Story About Haiti and The Earthquake.
Susan and Brian have been married for over 30 years, have raised 3 children, Brad, Maggie and Kyle, and have over 30 nieces and nephews. Gardening and book clubs are her favorite hobbies.
The love of family and friends is Susan’s greatest blessing but the ability to be God’s hands and feet is her deepest joy.
