Get Motivated to Move: Part 2
December 18, 2010 by
Did you know that people who exercise to FEEL better end up losing more weight, burning more fat, getting more fit, and improving health more than people who work out specifically to LOOK better? Ironic, eh?
Also, to stay successful with your exercise plans, set moderate duration and intensity goals instead of trying to get in shape overnight. (Alert and Deluxe Warning! For those of you who are already quite fit, we have different advice for you in an upcoming episode. You already got fit using the “feel” vs “look” approach.) New, returning, and mainstream exercisers who take the turtle method tend to reach goals more consistently and effectively than the hares who burn out.
If you are ready to commit to get more fit, check out our “New Year = New You: 30 Day Fiitness Challenge as well, over on our website FunandFit.org.
Big “mwah” kiss and thank you to Brian WIlliams, who composed our theme music.
