Hailed as “Doc Hollywood” by the Los Angeles Times, Dr. Rachel Ballon is a licensed psychotherapist who utilizes the healing power of writing to teach creative professionals and industry executives how to achieve personal and professional success by decreasing creative blocks and increasing creativity.
Rachel is a motivational speaker, writing teacher, and international script consultant who has reviewed hundreds of scripts for major Hollywood studios, including United Paramount Network, Saban Entertainment, and Fox Kids. Rachel has worked with top writers, producers, directors, and network executives to develop film and television projects for RAI-TV in Rome. She has also been a panelist on creativity and films in Valencia, Spain, speaking on values and psychology in movies. As a screenwriter, Rachel’s scripts have been optioned by Warner Bros. and other major studios. She has production credits on ABC-TV and is a member of the Writer’s Guild of America, West.
A master teacher and noted creativity coach, Dr. Rachel Ballon is a former adjunct professor at USC’s School of Cinema and Television. She has also led workshops at UCLA’s Writer’s Program, American Film Institute, Writer’s Guild of America, Director’s Guild of America, Women in Film, Women in Theater, Northwestern University, and major writing conferences worldwide.

Charlotte S. Waisman, PhD, is a nationally known champion for women. Over the last twenty-five years, she has advocated for women as a professor, political activist, keynote speaker, and expert witness. As a corporate leader, executive coach and facilitator, Waisman coauthored several books, including 50 Activities for Developing Leaders and The Leadership Training Activity Book. She is currently a vice president with a worldwide consulting company specializing in large-scale leadership, gender, and culture changes. Waisman is also director of human resources for the Women’s Vision Foundation, through which she speaks extensively across the country and conducts leadership workshops.
Jill S. Tietjen, PE, is an author, national speaker, and an electrical engineer. Her published books include the Setting the Record Straight series, which explores the history of women in accounting, engineering, and professional achievement. Tietjen is one of the top historians in the country on scientific and technical women. In addition, she works to nominate women of achievement to the National Women’s Hall of Fame. She is the president and CEO of Technically Speaking, a national consulting company specializing in improving opportunities for women and girls to have more career options in technology. Tietjen is also a frequent keynote speaker at engineering, science, and women’s conferences. She has been inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame.
