[HTML1] Lynda Yraceburu is world renowned as a lineage carrier and practitioner of the lost Gypsy Healing Art of Vas Pesh – HandWalking. Neither her ancestors nor Lynda herself know who first conceived their ancient Vas Pesh – HandWalking. They simply knew that stimulating the lines of the hands could heal, rejuvenate and balance with nature and the powerful knowledge of the Romani Chovani… master Gypsy Healer.
When asked about Vas Pesh, Lynda shares vivid stories of Rom history, and time spent with Juliette de Bairacli Levy. Juliette is considered the Grandmother of Modern Herbalism. This amazing woman instructed her in every story shared of common lineage. Juliette encouraged Lynda to learn more of the traditional healers in her family. Juliette taught her healing lines and initiated Lynda’s journey. After this, books and videos revealed themselves to her, as family history brought understanding. These things are still happening.
Lynda received training in the Quero Apache Tlish Diyan – modality of the Snake Clan, and both traditional teachings, with the clinical knowledge of orthodox medicine she received during her pioneering years as a CardioVascular X-Ray Technologist for Stanford. Yraceburu has practiced her unique style of healing work – Body Wisdom – since 1995.
Today, Lynda teaches through Yraceburu EarthWisdom a non-profit eco-spiritual community she co-founded. She is an earth spirit photographer whose images have illustrated numerous magazines, including Mystic Pop, Beltane Papers, Sharman’s Drum, and Sedona Journal. Dik ta shoon… the ability to hear the Earth Mother speak; transcends time and space. Dik ta shoon is natural to Lynda. It connects her to nature and fills her with joy. Dik ta shoon results in the images of her EarthSpirit Photography. She has a book, Where Spirit Lives, in negotiations with publishers, which conveys the actual sensation of Earth’s living spirit.
Lynda is also an active emissary of the Grandmothers of the Sisters of Honua Project. SoH and YEW form a dedicated partnership of spiritual celebration and education that reintegrates earth into daily living. Today Lynda shares her experiences in all these capacities of service to the Women’s Ways of Earth and the Grandmothers of the Sisters of Honua, with special emphasis on how these experiences have enriched her life and evolutional procession.
Lynda reads the clues of everyday life via the hands. She delivers a truth, that somewhere inside everyone of us, there is essential power to healing… BodyWisdom.
In Lynda’s vision, living without connection creates dis-ease, simple relation restores health.
