[HTML1] In the ’60’s, Teri Degler heard a teacher, Gopi Krishna, speak of a deep yearning. Her experience was of such a yearning since a very young girl.
The deep yearning we feel – and see all around us – to do good, to become better people, to help the suffering, and to save Mother Earth are all triggered by the same cosmic force that drives our longing to express ourselves creatively. Ancient Yoga texts call this force Shakti, the divine feminine, and tell us that she is the evolutionary force of the universe, the architect of our personal growth and spiritual transformation, and – even more importantly, that her virtually unimaginable potential power rests in each and every one of us.
Her book, The Fiery Muse: Creatitivy and the Spiritual Guest, speaks of that quest in stories, exercises that encourages and supports your quest.
