[HTML1] Cheryl Honey and The Family Support Network, International are helping with a project for the families of coastal Louisiana who have been hit so hard by the BP oil disaster. Millions of individuals are being impacted in a catastrophic event that will dwarf Katrina. And we all know how devastating that still is.
With information coming directing from those individuals and families on the ground, the Family Network is keeping abreast of what’s happening in the region.
Their are toxic chemicals causing health problems and making it necessary for temporary housing and medical help.
The businesses and livelihoods of families in the gulf region have been destroyed, perhaps forever, and their once beautiful wetlands have been turned into a toxic waste site.
Contrary to media reports, the families of the Louisiana Gulf are not getting aid, not from BP or from the government. They are asking their fellow human beings to for greatly needed assistance.
An urgent plea from Kindra in the Gulf

The families in Louisiana area are asking for your help in the following ways:
- Ask anyone you know in the area to sign up as a Good Neighbor
- Send us eye witness accounts and personal experiences of what’s happening.
- Submit Requests for Assistance so we can connect you with a Good Neighbor who can provide you with support.
- Write and call elected Congressmen to support bills to give Oil Spill Commission ability to subpoena documents to uncover the truth.
- Let us know if you or someone you know is willing to provide temporary housing for families suffering ill effects from toxic fumes and oil contaminates.
