Mesotherapy, A Treatment for Pain and Cosmetic Esthetics

[HTML1]  In this show Dr. Gracer interviews Anette Mnabhi, DO, a noted expert on Mesotherapy treatment. This interview gives details about how it works as well as its many uses.

Mesotherapy was developed in France in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pister, where it is used extensively for treatment of sports and other injuries. In the United States its main use is for treatment of wrinkles and cellulite, although it is gaining popularity for the treatment of pain and injuries.  It involves the superficial injection of very small amounts of medications, homeopathic remedies, minerals, amino acids, and vitamins into the mesoderm (middle layer) of the skin.
