Jill Diana Chasse, author of Baby Magic, is a pregnancy counselor and perinatal development consultant. She has been working in the field of maternal/child wellness since 1990. She was certified in 1996 for counseling by the International Association for Counselors and Therapists and has since been working with families to prepare for birth and parenthood.

She focuses on the baby, creating a womb curriculum for the parents to stimulate brain development and bonding before birth. She also teaches infant mental, emotional and cognitive health and development as well as childbirth education, early parenting classes, grief and bereavement support and relationship counseling. She has conducted lectures, led discussions, and published numerous articles on these topics.

Jill Chasse holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Behavior, a Master’s degree of Public Administration and a Master’s of Science in Psychology. As an outreach member of the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health, Mrs. Chasse strives to bridge the gap between reseach and policy for healthier and happier families and babies.
